After much prayer and seeking God’s direction, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of Refuge Stays. While this season is coming to an end, our hearts are filled with gratitude for every family, supporter, prayer partner, and child who became part of this mission.

Refuge Stays was born from the life and journey of Cody — whose strength, courage, and unwavering faith inspired us to create a place of hope for families facing pediatric cancer. His story became the heartbeat behind this mission, and his legacy will forever live on through every life that was touched by Refuge Stays.

What started from pain became a place of comfort, healing, encouragement, and hope for families walking through unimaginable circumstances. Through every hotel stay provided, every prayer spoken, every encouraging message, and every act of kindness, God moved in powerful ways.

We witnessed strength in the middle of suffering.

We witnessed hope in hard moments.

We witnessed healing, courage, and lives forever changed.

To every family we had the honor of serving: thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you during such sacred moments in your journey. Your resilience inspired us deeply.

Though Refuge Stays is ending, the love, compassion, and mission behind it will continue in new ways as we follow where God is leading next. We believe this is not the end of the story — only a new beginning.
